Fall Protection Competent Person

In 2007, Industry leaders are stepping up their fall protection training requirements for the Gulf of Mexico. Chevron, for example, is now requiring at least one person in a crew exposed to fall hazards to be a graduate of this 16-hour Fall Protection Competent Person course to work on their locations.

This 16 hour course designed to qualify personnel as a Fall Protection Competent Person. This course is designed to train students to comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.500, 20 CFR 1910 Subpart D [Walking/Working Surfaces], as well as meeting the Chevron industry standard.
