Sam, a cum laude graduate from Oklahoma State University, has worked in and around the oil and gas industry all of his life. Sam not only has field operations experience, but has worked in the fabrication of process equipment manufacturing.
Sam's experience includes development and implementation of engineering and manufacturing projects specifically related to oil & gas regulatory compliance, ISO 9000, API SPEC Q1 and HS&E.
Sam has done HS&E work all over the U.S. and on four continents. He has developed training programs and designed over a dozen training courses for oil & gas workers.
He is a NCCCO certified crane operator for both hydraulic and friction cranes and has successfully prepared clients for contractor audits by complanies such as BP, Chevron, Shell and Conoco.
In short, Sam has been in the HS&E chair and knows what it takes to develop and maintain a quality HS&E program. He has DONE it.

Information technology is one of Sam's interests. He has developed internet web sites [including this one!] and program design, including hands-on HTML and PERL programming.
He has taken all of his experience and knowledge to the classroom where it culminates in a unique approach to course design as well as a lively and memorable experience for his students. |
