Course Description
In 2007, Industry leaders are stepping up their fall protection training requirements for the Gulf of Mexico. Chevron, for example, is now requiring this 8-hour fall protection systems course for any worker on their locations who will be working on an elevated surface or around a floor opening.
This eight hour course designed to introduce fall protection for all personnel who may be exposed to fall hazards. This course is designed to train students to comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.500, 20 CFR 1910 Subpart D [Walking/Working Surfaces], as well as meeting the Chevron industry standard.
